Choosing An Image

Now that the show booth is up and going it is time to work on the portfolio of prints that I will be displaying. At the moment it is kind of a hodge-podge of things I had printed to see what various media looked like with different images. Most of what I have currently will be part of the mix, but I have so many more images that need to be there as well.

Today I was reviewing a shoot that I did last summer on a sunrise drive through the Flint Hills. I have these two images that are very similar, taken a few minutes apart. One of them I had printed last fall and it looked horrible. The way an image looks when you see it onscreen versus what it looks like printed are two different animals, and require two different files for correct print results.

I’m going to have both printed small to verify the look, and I think I already know which one I will be adding to the portfolio but would like a little feedback. Which do you think is the better picture?
