Out With The Old

A fine looking crow.

A quick post to get the last of last year’s pictures posted. I spent New Years weekend visiting friends and chilling out. Literally, chilling out as there was a snow storm and several days of cold temperatures. I have already taken some great pictures this year, but I want to get last year out of the way first. These are some random shots from places I’ve been recently.

I frequently take pictures of nests in trees, especially during winter when they are so visible. Most of the time I just wonder what it was that lived there. This time I got the answer in the picture.

I drove through the Gypsum Hills again but this time took no pictures. This is from a couple months ago. This type of gate and fence dates back a few years.

In the Gypsum Hills, standing next to Lake City Road on the scenic drive. The path I drove through the hills this time was over on the far side of the wide valley.
