A Drive Through The Wet Mountains
On April 23, 2024 I made an early morning drive from my ranch heading south to Beulah Valley, then a stop at Pueblo Mountain Park, and on up into the Wet Mountains coming back out at Wetmore. About a three hour tour.

Early morning looking across the valley.
A few deer on the road right around the curve from my entrance.
They didn't run very far.
Early morning sun on the mountain.

Wet Mountain view. This is the San Carlos Overlook. I do believe I will need to be here for a nice shot of the Milky Way over the peak.
Kind of a random pic of flowers. But as I look at that, there is a story of a lot of years there.
First of two pics taken at the same spot. The subject that made me stop is not that prominent here as this is a 14mm wide angle shot. What hits me about this shot is the leading lines of road, fence, and clouds. Fairly well balanced light/dark, sky/ground.
This is a 70mm shot of the same subject as the previous pic. This really shows the subject of an old collapsing cabin, and the leading line leading right to it.
