Catching Up

It has been a few days since I posted anything. Time to at least catch up on what has been happening. My last post was some new prints I had made for shows, and I sold one of them last show! My next show is in Marion, Kansas at the Art in the Park Festival on September 18-19. I am really excited about this one. It is my first outdoor booth setup, and really my first festival of this type.

The first three shows I have done have been successful, making sales each time. I have learned a good bit as well so going forward the booth will be much better. I am getting the light kit in operation which will really show off the artwork. With better presentation, the prints will have much more impact when people look at them.

The new prints I got for the Wichita Flea Market show is just the beginning. Even with those, I only had about three dozen different images for sale. I only used one print bin at the last show. I own four print bins, so I want to get them all in use with distinct images. I am up to 138 images I have processed and printed. My goal is to get 300 unique images on display in my booth. I had a short window to get the initial proofs ordered, so that has been keeping me really busy over the last couple of weeks.

For the last several months while I have been concerned with setting up the show booth and deciding what to present, I have been on hiatus for shooting pictures. I’ve had so much to work on that adding new images in was just too much to deal with. Yesterday I went out and did some shooting for the first time in a while. These pictures are what I got yesterday.

As I get the new prints into show kits will start sharing some of them. Not only have I caught up on processing images, it is time to get this web site caught up to where I am. You can expect to see posts coming regularly again!
