New Pricing, More Pictures
I have been working on getting more of my pictures ready for print, and testing how they look. Today I added Eagle at Hargis Creek to the Zodeman Store. This is a picture that I took back in December when there were lots of eagles flying around out there. There is a dead tree right on a point of land on the west side of the lake where the eagles loved to perch, sometimes being several sitting there. On this occasion I was sitting in the right spot and saw this adult heading across the lake toward the tree. I got several great pictures of the approach, and this was the moment of touch-down. A very regal bird.
Sprague Lake in early morning is very still before the winds have a chance to start blowing. An almost perfect mirror image. I have added this picture in several formats to the Zodeman Store.
In May 2020 I broke out of confinement for a day and went to Quivera National Wildlife Refuge. It is about a two hour drive from my home, and I like to arrive there before dawn for some amazing Kansas sunrises. On this occasion I was not disappointed. A quick shower had moved through the area before I got there, and the sun was coming up below them in a blaze of orange glory. Thank goodness I was all by myself out there because I had to stop the vehicle and get out and take pictures every few minutes as I made my final entry into the Refuge.
In addition to adding these images to the store, I revamped the look of the store a little and lowered the prices a LOT. I will be adding more items in the near future as well.
