Snow and Ice

At the edge of the water, mist and spray made for some interesting designs.

We had a snow storm and cold weather this week. I spent the majority of it in a nice comfy house. I did go out the first afternoon that things warmed up a little. Drove across town to Hargis Creek Watershed in Wellington, Kansas. I took a few pictures of the patterns in the snow and some ice sculpture that nature provided.

On the right side, you can see some people taking advantage of one of the only hills around for a little bit of sledding.

A chilly day.

Snow and shadow.

Ice at the edge of the lake.

Snow designs.

It has been cold for three days.

The lake lies frozen.

Tiny little ice sculptures.
